Experience and a defined role

Practical follow-through for the clients you serve.

Founder Wayne Creef brings more than 30 years of experience as a financial advisor, including more than 20 years at Merrill Lynch and concluding his financial-advising career at Raymond James. That background informs his understanding of the details clients need help keeping up with.

At SFCS, his role is financial administration. SFCS does not provide investment advice or manage investments. You retain your professional relationship and advisory role; the client retains control of their money and decisions.

Support is available in clients’ homes throughout Hampton Roads and remotely by phone, video, or secure digital methods when appropriate.

When to refer

Recognize a client who could use regular help?

A referral may be appropriate when a client needs practical, recurring support with financial responsibilities and administrative follow-through.

Paperwork keeps accumulating

Statements, bills, and correspondence arrive faster than the client can review them. Records are scattered, and important items need consistent attention.

Recommended next steps remain unfinished

The client understands your recommendations but needs help gathering records, tracking paperwork, scheduling follow-up, or completing agreed administrative tasks.

Bills and insurance questions stay unresolved

Medical bills, insurance statements, or long-term care claims need organization, status tracking, and routine follow-up with providers or insurers.

A life transition changes the routine

A loss, move, illness, or new caregiving responsibility leaves the client or family managing unfamiliar financial details.

Family members need a clearer picture

With the client’s permission, designated family members would benefit from organized records and updates on completed work, open matters, and upcoming deadlines.

The client wants help while retaining control

The client can make their own decisions but wants regular administrative support, reminders, or a dependable second set of eyes on routine financial matters.

Working together

Clear permissions. Clear responsibilities.

Communication and information sharing follow the client’s written authorization and the agreed scope of service.

1. Introduce the need

Share this page with the client or contact SFCS to discuss a potential fit in general terms. Obtain the client’s permission before making an introduction or sharing identifying details.

2. Agree on the support

We speak with the client about priorities, initial organization, ongoing responsibilities, cost, and who may receive information. An assessment and paper or digital organization establish the starting point.

3. Maintain follow-through

Within the agreed plan, we track open matters, maintain records, and provide updates to authorized recipients. Questions requiring professional judgment are directed to the appropriate advisor.

SFCS does not provide legal, tax, investment, medical, insurance, or financial-planning advice. We do not serve as POA agent, fiduciary, or executor. We can help coordinate institutional acceptance of existing POAs, obtain institution-specific forms, and track requirements with the client’s named agent and attorney. Each institution determines acceptance.

An ongoing working relationship

Getting organized is where we start. Staying organized is where we help.

Monthly plans provide regular review, record maintenance, issue tracking, and reporting at the level the client needs. The assessment, physical file organizer, and digital tools support that work. Complimentary Everplans is included with the $500 Financial Organization Package and both monthly plans. Concierge Support also includes complimentary EverSafe.

Focused one-time organization is also available. We help the client determine whether a defined project or continued monthly support is the appropriate fit.

Call or email Wayne to discuss a potential referral or learn more about working together. Keep the initial inquiry general; do not send client financial documents, account numbers, medical information, or other sensitive details through ordinary email. We will explain an appropriate secure process if records are needed.
